What’s sexy, you might ask? Sexiness is changing like never before. And being sexy in fashion, isn’t about skin-show, anymore. In fact, in a recent poll, 75 percent women said that ‘sexy’ is more an attitude than having a perfect body.

And more than 76 percent women said, you can be sexy even if you’re big.
Believe it or not, Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria refused to autograph some ‘sexy’ pictures of her in an underwear, because she found them unflattering.
Designer Ravi Bajaj says, "Sexy is not an object; it’s an attitude which makes all the difference. Thankfully skin show does not make anyone sexy, vulgar yes but not sexy at all. You can look sexy in a sari. Women in lingerie are least sexy for me."
In defining sexy, there are no rules. We’re rethinking the rules: visible bra straps, thongs, mini skirts, backless tops may not complete the overall sexy look. Interpretation of sexiness in 2008 is totally different.
Designer Urvashi Kaur talks about the new sexy look, "Sexiness in the year 2008, comes alive with a hint of metallic sheen. The look is very international and futuristic. The oomph is in leather, that’ll make a bold passionate statement. Black and red defines a sexy look."

You can even dress a woman in a sexy colour. Designer Bobby Grover says, "Dark colours like grey, green, black, red and burgundy are sexy."
Lessons in looking sexy, can be endless. What was sexy last year, won't be sexy this year. Designers change their definitions of a sexy look. As erotica gets redefined so does sensualness of a woman on the ramp. Sexy in 2008, is the subtle ageless, careless look.
Designer Anupamaa Dayal says, "Sexy for me as a designer means providing a look that transforms the feelings of a girl, from ordinary to extraordinary. It means empowerment, subtle manipulation and worthy use of the tools of glamour."
Whatever the notion is, the bottom line is each woman wants to look sexy. Says designer Sanjay Malhotra, "A woman should have a sensuous personality. Sexy is just the way you see things."
